Job description
This role will serve as a lead architect for an enterprise Varicent Sales Compensation platform, supporting ongoing enhancements, production support, reporting, integrations, issue resolution, and periodic incentive compensation payout operations., * Serve as the lead architect for the Varicent Sales Compensation platform.
- Analyze business requirements and recommend scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Design and enhance compensation plans, calculation logic, reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and compensation statements.
- Provide advanced production support, including incident/defect resolution, troubleshooting, performance issues, and root cause analysis.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive compensation payout cycles.
- Validate compensation calculations and payout results and investigate discrepancies.
- Work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and Compensation teams.
- Support data imports, exports, transformations, integrations, and data quality issues.
- Support testing, deployments, and production validation.
- Manage BAU maintenance and enhancement requests, including effort estimation and prioritization.
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to business and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Experience: 10-15+ years of Varicent experience, * 10-15+ years of hands-on Varicent experience.
- Experience as a Varicent Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or Technical Lead.
- Strong understanding of incentive compensation management, commission calculations, and sales performance management.
- Extensive experience supporting production Varicent environments.
- Experience with compensation payout operations and supporting business users.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience partnering with Sales Operations, Finance, and Compensation teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
