This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working closely with customers to deliver reliable, high-quality automation solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.\n
- 3-7+ years of experience within controls engineering, systems integration, or industrial automation.\n
- Strong experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning.\n
- Experience with HMI and/or SCADA systems.\n
- Previous experience working within data centre environments is highly desirable.\n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.\n
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a wider engineering team.\n
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.\n
- Willingness to travel across the US approximately up to 30%, including the potential for international travel.\n

- Program, configure, troubleshoot, and commission PLC and HMI-based control systems.\n
- Develop structured, reliable, and well-documented PLC and SCADA software.\n
- Design intuitive and user-friendly HMI interfaces.\n
- Troubleshoot control system hardware, software, and communications issues.\n
- Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and develop effective solutions.\n
- Support the commissioning and start-up of control systems within data centre and other mission-critical environments.\n
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard.\n
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from development through to commissioning and handover.\n
