D365 Senior SCM Consultant in Northampton

• Proven experience as a D365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant, with exposure to AX2012 environments and a strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, procurement, planning, and manufacturing processes.

We’re looking for someone who can combine strong functional expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills., * Strong experience in Advanced Warehouse Management, Production Control/Manufacturing, and Master Planning (MRP)., * Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant certification. \n

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. \n

• Experience in fast-paced supply chain, retail, distribution, manufacturing, or food production environments. \n

• Lead requirements discovery workshops and challenge business processes to identify effective solutions. \n

• Own solution design and fit-gap analysis across D365 Supply Chain Management. \n

• Configure and optimize D365 SCM capabilities, particularly within Advanced Warehouse Management and Manufacturing. \n

• Design end-to-end warehouse, inventory, procurement, planning, and production processes using standard D365 functionality wherever possible. \n

• Produce clear and comprehensive functional documentation, including BRDs, FDDs, process flows, and testing materials. \n

• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, integration teams, and delivery partners to deliver robust solutions. \n

• Support system testing, user acceptance testing, go-live activities, and post-launch hypercare. \n

• Provide expert guidance on best-practice processes and continuous improvement opportunities. \n

• Support integrations with operational technologies and third-party systems where required. \n

• Mentor junior consultants, sharing knowledge and helping develop team capability. \n

• Ensure solutions meet governance, documentation, and compliance standards. \n

• Stay up to date with D365 product developments and industry best practices. \n
