Job description
Description We are looking for a Network Administrator to help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our technology environment in Savannah, Georgia. This role supports day-to-day network operations, resolves advanced technical issues, and keeps critical infrastructure running efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting ability, practical experience with enterprise networking equipment, and a proactive approach to maintaining secure and stable systems.
Responsibilities:

Resolve advanced network incidents that are escalated beyond the initial support level, identifying root causes and restoring service in a timely manner.

Deploy, configure, maintain, and improve core networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.

Track network health and usage patterns through monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Carry out software, firmware, and configuration updates to maintain system performance, reliability, and security.

Support network security efforts by applying patches, managing user and device access, and following established compliance standards.

Administer IP addressing, subnet design, and related network configuration settings across the environment.

Investigate and resolve connectivity, hardware, and performance problems affecting local and broader network operations.

Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering configurations, troubleshooting processes, and issue resolution details.
Requirements
-
Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and solutions effectively to both technical colleagues and non-technical users. Requirements * At least 3 years of experience in network administration, network support, or a closely related IT infrastructure role.

Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols used in enterprise environments.

Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including routers and LAN infrastructure.

Familiarity with firewall technologies, wireless networking, and practical network security standards.

Experience supporting enterprise network environments and diagnosing performance or connectivity issues.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and explaining technical information to diverse audiences.

Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco credentials are preferred. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
