Job description

We are seeking a talented UX (User Experience) Designer to join our Business Analytics department on a full-time basis. This remote position in the United States offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging, scalable digital experiences that meet the evolving needs of our business customers. Reporting directly to Michael Horan, the UX Designer will play a crucial role in translating complex requirements into intuitive and accessible user interfaces. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong foundation in UX principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end user experiences for web platforms, from initial wireframes to high-fidelity, production-ready designs. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency across digital experiences. Your expertise will help enhance usability, accessibility, and visual appeal, ultimately delivering meaningful customer interactions. The role requires a confident, detail-oriented professional capable of producing developer-ready assets, articulating design decisions clearly, and integrating insights from user research to continuously improve the user experience., * Design comprehensive end-to-end user experiences for web platforms, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes

  • Create visually compelling layouts emphasizing hierarchy, composition, and usability
  • Develop and deliver developer-ready design files, specifications, and assets with accuracy and consistency
  • Apply UX best practices and ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to ensure cohesive user experiences
  • Contribute to and maintain established design systems, ensuring consistency across digital products
  • Communicate design rationale and decisions effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Incorporate insights from user research, usability testing, and A/B testing into iterative design improvements
  • Build and enhance reusable components in Figma, utilizing features like auto layout, variants, and shared libraries
  • Support current light-mode website delivery while developing components and patterns for the dark-mode design system

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience in design, human-computer interaction, or related field
  • Proven experience working with design systems and component-based design approaches
  • Experience producing web-ready, developer-friendly design assets
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability standards
  • Excellent visual design skills with attention to hierarchy, composition, and usability
  • Ability to balance user needs with business and technical requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience incorporating user research, usability testing, and A/B testing insights into design iterations
  • Preferred experience with motion design, animation, video, or tools such as After Effects
  • Knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, or Claude to support design workflows
