Data Center Engineer

Robert Half is seeking experienced Data Center Engineers to support clients with infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, deployments, and ongoing data center reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support servers, storage, networking, and data center infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and infrastructure issues
• Coordinate server and network deployments
• Support capacity planning, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure upgrades
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis
• Coordinate with network, systems, cloud, security, and facilities teams
• Support change management and production maintenance activities

• Several years of data center, systems, infrastructure, or network engineering experience
• Strong understanding of server and network hardware
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
• Knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in production or mission-critical environments

Experience with VMware, Cisco, Dell, HPE, Linux, cloud technologies, automation, or enterprise monitoring tools is beneficial.
