As part of the Corporate Coverage team within Global Banking & Advisory (GLBA), based in the Netherlands, the Support Coverage Analyst plays a critical role at the intersection of client coverage, regulatory compliance, and internal coordination.

You will act as a key point of contact between corporate clients, front-office bankers, and internal KYC and Compliance functions, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of Know-Your-Customer (KYC) processes for a portfolio of large corporate clients across the Netherlands, Belgium, and the Nordic region. This role offers early exposure to senior stakeholders, a strong understanding of the regulatory framework governing global banking activities, and a clear pathway towards front-office analytical and transactional responsibilities., * Manage periodic KYC reviews and client onboardings for large multinational corporate clients in accordance with regulatory and internal standards

  • Act as the primary liaison between Relationship Managers, clients, KYC operations teams, and Compliance departments
  • Proactively coordinate and collect regulatory documentation, ensuring completeness, consistency, and timely submission
  • Provide clear guidance and first-level analysis on KYC-related questions, risks, and regulatory requirements to bankers and clients
  • Maintain and enhance internal databases, systems, and reporting tools (including Excel-based trackers), while identifying process improvements and escalating technical issues where appropriate
  • Leverage AI and digital tools to optimize workflow efficiency, data quality, and execution timelines
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and process enhancement initiatives arising from regulatory, operational, or business needs

Development Opportunities - Corporate Banking & Advisory Exposure Upon successful completion of the KYC assignment, the role offers progressive involvement in front-office and analytical activities, including:

  • Supporting the preparation of client business cases to define and execute the bank’s strategic approach toward key corporate relationships
  • Producing tailored client presentations to support senior Relationship Managers in commercial discussions
  • Assisting in the structuring and execution of corporate lending transactions, including:
  • Revolving Credit Facilities (RCFs)
  • Term Loans
  • Green & Sustainability-Linked Loans
  • Borrowing Base facilities
  • Managing the internal financing platform, monitoring transaction checklists, and coordinating legal documentation processes
  • Performing client profitability and return analysis to support relationship strategy and transaction decision-making
  • Calculating and analyzing key banking metrics, including:
  • Net Banking Income (NBI)
  • Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA)
  • Regulatory Gross Client Profitability (RGCP)
  • Risk-Adjusted Return on Risk Capital (RARORC)
  • Participating in internal client reviews, follow-up on action plans, and analysis of business potential and cross-sell opportunities
  • Attending internal meetings with Relationship Managers to identify commercial opportunities, risks, and coverage gaps

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline

  • Previous experience in a similar position would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken

Technical, operational & soft skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact confidently with senior bankers, clients, and control functions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; interest in digital tools and AI-enabled solutions is a strong asset
  • Interest in corporate banking, financial analysis, and regulatory frameworks
