Interviews: W/c 26th October 2026 Key Responsibilities Develop professional user interfaces for learning platforms such as Moodle/Totara Work collaboratively with colleagues to guarantee high quality, on-time and on-budget projects Delivering optimum results that meet the needs of our customers Ensure the highest quality of UI development, implementation & internal/external documentation Collaborate with non-technical staff in emerging web development techniques & best practises Provide accurate task estimationsProactively seek out training opportunities, workshops, or seminars to elevate skills, knowledge, or industry insights relevant to your aspirations. Attend industry events, conferences, or webinars to expand professional networks, learn from peers, and keep a pulse on SME challenges and opportunities. Actively participate in our performance enablement programme through positive engagement in 1:1s, the acquisition of skills and the achievement of agreed goals. Essential Criteria - You must have: Residency, along with the right to work in UK or Ireland Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline Knowledge of Virtual Learning Environments such as Moodle/Totara Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS Experience in using JavaScript Frameworks PHP development experience Experience with CSS preprocessors (SCSS/LESS) Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) Excellent knowledge of web accessibility standards Proven track record of testing, debugging and addressing development issues (e.g. Cross Browser compatibility issues) Valuable Experience - We would love you to have: Experience in using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue LAMP Experience (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Experience in NodeJS/NPM Experience in using task runner modules such as Grunt/Gulp Knowledge of bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: Alignment with Synergy Learning’s Vision & Values Passionate about delivering exceptional customer solutions Can prioritise teamwork via strong communication & collaboration skills Has a proactive approach to own professional development and performance management Will co-locate for onboarding and collaboration purposes from time-to-time.
