Job description

Join a dynamic team as a ServiceNow Developer (Software Engineer II), where you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing enterprise ServiceNow applications and integrations. Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive operational excellence and support business growth. This position offers opportunities for skill advancement, technical leadership, and exposure to large-scale, enterprise-level projects., Develop, modify, and enhance application code and ServiceNow platform functionality.

  • Design, build, and implement new modules, workflows, and platform enhancements.
  • Execute application builds, deployments, and perform code merges.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and defects.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
  • Develop and execute unit, system, and integration tests.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor application health and performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Support project planning, estimation, and coordination of development activities.
  • Mentor junior team members and participate in on-call support rotations.

Requirements

3+ years of software development experience.

  • 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
  • Proficient in JavaScript and platform scripting.
  • Experience building and maintaining REST and SOAP API integrations.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Shell, or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
  • Well-versed in software development best practices and secure coding.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

[Preferred Skills]

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of SDLC processes.
  • Experience with application usability and user experience best practices.
  • ServiceNow certifications.
  • Background in supporting enterprise-scale platforms and integrations.
