IT Consultant I

Join a dynamic IT team as an IT Consultant I, supporting a mission-critical Disaster Recovery (DR) Program for a leading organization. This fully remote contract position offers the flexibility of working from home while requiring proximity to one of our offices in Providence, RI; Allentown, PA; or BOC, KY. Leverage your expertise in disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT governance to ensure operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

[Responsibilities]

• Develop, update, and maintain Disaster Recovery Plans, Runbooks, and Test Plans
• Manage and update ServiceNow BCM records and recovery inventories
• Coordinate meetings, testing schedules, and evidence collection activities
• Track remediation actions, risks, and compliance metrics for the DR Program
• Prepare audit evidence and generate compliance reports
• Perform CMDB validation and data quality analysis to support business continuity initiatives

2-5 years of hands-on experience in IT, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or IT Governance

• Firm understanding of disaster recovery principles and operational support
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• Skilled in ServiceNow, SharePoint, Excel, and Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with DR concepts, infrastructure, cloud, and application environments

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience with ServiceNow BCM administration
• Advanced knowledge in audit evidence preparation and compliance reporting
