Cyber Security Engineer

We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join a growing engineering team working across complex client environments, including cloud, on-premises and hybrid infrastructure.

You’ll work across security engineering, automation, security tooling and infrastructure, helping clients identify and manage risk while strengthening their security posture. What you’ll be doing

• Design and implement security tools, systems and processes.
• Work across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Automate security processes, including SIEM and log ingestion.
• Manage firewalls and network security.
• Carry out infrastructure security assessments using standards such as CIS Benchmarks.
• Work with engineering and security teams to embed security best practice.
• Support security monitoring, incident response and threat intelligence.

Experience in some of the following:

• Cyber security and platform engineering.
• SIEM: Splunk, Sentinel, Cribl or ELK.
• Cloud: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Scripting: Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Networking, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management or endpoint security.
• IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep.
• Linux/WSL and CI/CD environments.
• SOC or security operations experience.

Experience with AI security/hardening or DevSecOps would also be beneficial.
