Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a growing security architecture team, working on highly sensitive and technically complex transformation programmes.

You’ll work closely with technical and solution architects to define secure architectures across enterprise IT and operational technology environments, while working alongside security assurance and penetration testing teams to validate controls. What you’ll be doing

  • Define security architecture for complex technology solutions.
  • Work across areas including cloud, networking, OT, virtualisation, applications, databases and containerisation.
  • Use threat modelling to identify risks and define security requirements.
  • Provide technical security advice across the design and delivery lifecycle.
  • Apply frameworks including NIST, ISO and CIS.
  • Support authentication, authorisation and protective monitoring strategies.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers and senior stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

We’re interested in candidates with strong technical security experience across one or more of:

  • Cloud and container security
  • IP networking / OT
  • On-premises architecture and virtualisation
  • Application and mobile security
  • Databases and LLMs
  • Threat modelling and security requirements
  • Security risk and control frameworks
  • Protective monitoring, authentication and authorisation

Security clearance: Any offer is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC clearance, typically requiring 5 years’ continuous UK address history and British passport holder status with no dual nationality at the point of application.
