Job description
Join a dynamic engineering team at the forefront of system integration and testing, supporting both in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components. As a System Integration/Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and maintaining advanced solutions to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cutting-edge systems. This position begins at our Chelmsford facility and transitions to Andover in January 2027, offering exposure to diverse technology environments and the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams., Develop and execute comprehensive integration and test plans for complex subsystems and systems.
- Translate customer contractual needs into actionable test solutions aligned with technical, schedule, and cost requirements.
- Establish and maintain functional/technical specifications, standards, and documentation.
- Identify and resolve hardware/software interface challenges, ensuring full system integration.
- Analyze test results, prepare detailed evaluation reports, and validate system performance.
- Write discrepancy reports and conduct regression testing to verify fixes across software, components, and subsystems.
- Coordinate testing activities across programs and organizations, driving milestone completion and project delivery.
- Lead and mentor teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office for reporting and project documentation.
- 5 years’ experience programming in LabVIEW.
- 3 years’ experience with Test Stand software.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical issues independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and working effectively within teams.
Preferred Skills
- 9+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Expertise in RF/Microwave systems and subsystems.
- Advanced proficiency with Test Stand development environments.
- Experience in test equipment design and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in generating engineering documentation, assembly, and block diagrams.
- Background in corrective/preventative action processes.
- Experience deriving test requirements from system-level specifications.
- Strong collaborator with multidisciplinary teams and proven ability to present technical solutions.
