PostgreSQL Developer / Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Developer / Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL development, database migration, performance optimization, and AWS cloud engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience migrating databases from legacy RDBMS platforms to PostgreSQL and supporting cloud-based production environments., * Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases, schemas, tables, views, indexes, functions, procedures, and triggers.

• Plan and execute migrations from Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or other RDBMS platforms to PostgreSQL.
• Analyze source and target environments, migration risks, dependencies, and compatibility issues.
• Perform database conversion, data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and post-migration testing.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, execution plans, and PostgreSQL configurations.
• Support backup, restore, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues and production incidents.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Support AWS-based database and application workloads.
• Implement infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Support cloud networking, monitoring, access control, security, and scaling.
• Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and production support.
• Create technical documentation, migration plans, and operational procedures.
