AEP/RTCDP Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced AEP/RTCDP Data Architect to design and govern Adobe Experience Platform data architecture, with a strong focus on Real Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP).

The role will own the AEP data layer, ensuring customer data is ingested, modelled, unified, governed and activated to support Real Time personalisation, analytics and omnichannel activation.

You will work closely with Solution Architects, Data Engineers, Marketing, Security and Privacy teams to translate business requirements into scalable and compliant AEP data solutions., * Own end-to-end AEP/RTCDP data architecture, including ingestion, XDM modelling, identity resolution, profile enablement and activation.

• Design XDM schemas, datasets and data flows for profile-enabled and non-profile data.
• Define batch, streaming and Real Time data ingestion patterns.
• Design customer data ingestion from multiple source systems.
• Define event and profile data modelling using XDM best practices.
• Design and govern identity namespaces, identity stitching and merge policies within RTCDP.
• Define profile enablement and activation readiness strategies.
• Partner with Data Engineers to ensure robust, scalable and well-documented ingestion pipelines.
• Translate business and marketing requirements into AEP data blueprints and solution designs.
• Provide architectural direction, design reviews, risk identification and technical decision-making throughout delivery.
• Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions support appropriate GDPR, privacy and security requirements.

• 5+ years’ experience in Data Architecture or a similar architecture role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and ideally Real Time CDP (RTCDP).
• Strong understanding of Adobe XDM, datasets, data flows, identity resolution and customer profiles.
• Experience with customer data architecture, enterprise data design or solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of event-driven data models and customer data modelling.
• Good knowledge of APIs, JSON and data transformation.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Strong understanding of GDPR and privacy-by-design principles within customer data platforms.
• Experience working with Data Engineers and technical delivery teams., * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data architecture concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Confident working in client-facing and stakeholder-heavy environments.
• Strong architectural governance and decision-making skills.
• Able to balance business requirements with scalability, security, privacy and technical considerations.
