Full Stack React/Java Engineer

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Full Stack React/Java Engineer on behalf of our client in Worcester, MA. The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions supporting enterprise applications across multiple lines of business. This role will focus primarily on React.js development with Java/Spring Boot backend development and will contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment and maintenance. Key Responsibilities Build reliable full-stack applications using React.js and Spring Boot. Develop new applications, prototypes, and proof-of-concept solutions. Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing technical solutions. Participate in application design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, product owners, developers, and stakeholders. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and development best practices. Optimize application performance, security, reliability, and stability. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and process improvements. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional software development experience. 3+ years of professional software development experience. Strong/expert-level experience with React.js. Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with application monitoring, observability, and performance management. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work onsite in Worcester, MA 1 2 days per week. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kubernetes and Docker. Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of UX/UI concepts and front-end development best practices. Experience with P&C insurance concepts, business processes, or related enterprise applications.
