Full Stack React Java Engineer

Technical Torc Assesment (Will need to complete before interviews - Video & Audio recorded assessment) & 2-3 rounds virtually Looking for: -70% React; 30% java -project: Hanover is implementing and building out Pega capabilities across lines of business (personal, commercial, specialty lines) using React front end framework and Java back end -would love anyone with experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI assisted development platforms, experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Build highly reliable full stack solutions using React.js and Spring Boot. Build new applications, prototypes, and proof of concept solutions. Collaborate with cross functional teams including architects, business analysts, and QA engineers. Work on the design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and monitoring of the software you build. Work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on solution delivery. Translate business requirements into scalable, high performing systems. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Optimize application performance, security, and stability. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement. Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and process improvements. Build knowledge of P&C insurance concepts, business processes, and systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR 3+ years of professional software development experience. Strong work ethic, prioritization skills, and attention to detail. 3+ years of professional software development experience. Expert knowledge of React.js. Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. Excellent communication skills. Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously. Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and application performance management. BONUS POINTS FOR: Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker). Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI assisted development platforms. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with UX/UI concepts and front end best practices.
