Job description

The selected candidate will serve as a senior technical authority responsible for defining solution architecture, establishing development and security standards, designing integrations, guiding technical delivery, troubleshooting complex platform issues, and providing technical leadership across the solution lifecycle., n \n

  • Lead the architecture, design, and technical direction of enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. \n

  • Design enterprise-scale solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Azure. \n

  • Define logical and physical data models, Dataverse tables and relationships, solution segmentation, environment strategy, and integration architecture. \n

  • Develop and configure model-driven applications, plug-ins, custom APIs, PCF controls, JavaScript/TypeScript extensions, Power Fx, and related Power Platform components. \n

  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, naming conventions, development standards, and technical governance. \n

  • Lead architecture reviews for significant solution changes before implementation. \n

  • Design, document, and manage integrations between Dynamics 365/Power Platform and external systems. \n

  • Define secure cross-cloud and cross-tenant integration patterns. \n

  • Design Azure architecture supporting application integration, identity, data, networking, security, and platform services. \n

  • Implement identity and security patterns using Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, service principals, Key Vault, private networking, and API gateways. \n

  • Design and maintain secure Power Pages architectures and external-user access models. \n

  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD and application lifecycle management processes. \n

  • Support automated build, deployment, testing, and release-management pipelines. \n

  • Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, API, performance, security, and service-protection issues. \n

  • Support platform release planning and evaluate the impact of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform updates. \n

  • Design and maintain enterprise data architectures and integrations with external government systems. \n

  • Establish automated data quality, validation, reconciliation, and duplicate-management controls. \n

  • Lead technical evaluations and proofs of concept for new Microsoft, Azure, Power Platform, and AI capabilities. \n

  • Provide technical recommendations regarding adoption, pilot programs, or continued evaluation of emerging technologies. \n

  • Provide architecture briefings, technical recommendations, and decision support to executive and non-technical leadership. \n

  • Mentor developers, architects, and technical staff while supporting knowledge transfer and internal capability development. \n

  • Maintain architecture documentation, decision records, technical standards, and governance artifacts. \n

Requirements

This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, enterprise architecture, system integration, security, DevOps, and emerging artificial intelligence capabilities., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related technical discipline. \n

  • 20+ years of progressive information technology experience. \n

  • 16+ years of solution or enterprise architecture experience. \n

  • 8+ years designing enterprise-scale, mission-critical solutions. \n

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dataverse, and Power Platform. \n

  • 5+ years serving as a lead or principal architect on full Dynamics 365 implementation lifecycles. \n

  • 4+ years of Microsoft Azure architecture and hands-on implementation experience. \n

  • 2+ years of production experience developing Generative AI and/or agentic AI solutions. \n

  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or Microsoft Copilot technologies. \n

  • Experience designing RAG solutions, AI grounding, tool calling, agent orchestration, and AI evaluation methodologies. \n

  • Strong experience developing Dynamics 365 extensions including C#/.NET plug-ins, custom APIs, PCF controls, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related technologies. \n

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform application lifecycle management, solution layering, and Azure DevOps CI/CD. \n

  • Experience designing and operating mission-critical production systems through Microsoft platform release cycles. \n

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise application security, identity management, secure integration patterns, and cloud architecture. \n

  • Experience designing systems operating in regulated or security-sensitive environments. \n

  • Experience with government cloud environments such as GCC, GCC High, or Azure Government. \n

  • Experience with cross-cloud or cross-tenant architecture. \n

  • Strong technical leadership and communication skills. \n

  • Demonstrated experience briefing executive and non-technical leadership.

  • Implement secure AI architecture including prompt-injection protections, tool permissions, data filtering, and auditability. \n
