Oracle EBS Functional Consultant

• Implement, configure, and support the Oracle EBS Accounts Payable (AP) module.
• Gather business requirements, conduct requirement analysis, and translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Configure and support supplier setup, invoice entry, invoice validation, payment processing, and payment formats.
• Manage invoice holds, approvals, prepayments, debit memos, credit memos, and employee expense processing.
• Support integration between AP and General Ledger (GL), Purchasing (PO), Cash Management (CE), and Fixed Assets (FA), as applicable.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including AP-to-GL reconciliation.
• Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICEW/RICE).
• Work closely with technical teams on interfaces, reports, workflows, and customizations.
• Perform functional testing, support UAT, and prepare test scripts and documentation.
• Provide production support, user training, and process improvement recommendations.

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials - Accounts Payable.
• Solid understanding of AP business processes, including invoice-to-payment lifecycle.
• Experience with supplier management, invoice validation, payment processing, and payment methods.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS integration with GL, PO, and Cash Management.
• Experience in functional setups, troubleshooting, testing, and production support.
• Ability to prepare functional requirement documents and work with technical development teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle EBS R12 / R12.2.
• Knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA), accounting distributions, and AP-to-GL reconciliation.
• Experience with Oracle Workflow, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), and Oracle Reports.
• Exposure to data conversions, interfaces, and financial integrations.
• Experience supporting Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
