Salesforce Solution Architect (GovCloud Expert)

Seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce GovCloud and enterprise Salesforce architecture. The selected consultant will serve as a senior technical authority responsible for architecture governance, platform modernization, security alignment, integration strategy, data governance, and enterprise solution design across large-scale Salesforce environments. This role requires extensive experience with Salesforce GovCloud, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, enterprise integrations, and modern data platforms including Snowflake and Tableau. Candidates must report onsite for Day 1 at: 30 E Broad Street, 13th Floor, Columbus, OH 43215 Key Responsibilities Salesforce Architecture & Solution Design

• Provide enterprise Salesforce architecture guidance for GovCloud-based applications.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Review technical designs involving Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, APIs, Experience Cloud, integrations, and shared services.
• Support enterprise modernization initiatives and complex platform transition programs.
• Recommend reusable architecture patterns and help reduce technical debt.
• Create architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and leadership-level technical recommendations.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Delivery Support

• Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, release readiness, and technical governance discussions.
• Collaborate with Application Development, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, DBA, Integration, Product, and Support teams.
• Guide DevOps processes including deployment sequencing, sandbox strategy, regression testing, and release management.
• Evaluate Salesforce performance risks including governor limits, DML constraints, heap size, CPU time, and data volume concerns.
• Mentor development and support teams on Salesforce best practices.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

• Design and review security models including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchy, and Experience Cloud access.
• Support compliance initiatives related to PII, PHI, CPI, and regulated enterprise data.
• Advise on MFA, transaction security policies, DKIM, IP restrictions, and platform security mandates.
• Identify and mitigate security risks associated with legacy access models and shared object exposure.

Integration & Enterprise Data Architecture

• Support enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Platform Events, CDC, and event-driven architecture.
• Design scalable data synchronization and upsert strategies using external IDs and source-system identifiers.
• Partner with integration and production teams to troubleshoot complex enterprise issues.

Data Governance & Platform Optimization

• Support data masking and governance strategies across production and lower environments.
• Assist with Data 360 / Data Cloud planning and enterprise data harmonization initiatives.
• Guide ingestion, segmentation, activation, and reporting strategies across Salesforce and enterprise systems.
• Review Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud licensing implications., * 100% remote role with mandatory Day 1 onsite reporting in Columbus, OH.
