Cleared Help Desk - Anticipated Opportunities

Mindbank Consulting Group anticipates upcoming opportunities supporting Department of Defense/Navy IT operations in Arlington, VA. We expect to seek IT support professionals at Tiers I, II, and III who are comfortable working in a team-based help desk environment and supporting Navy users, systems, hardware, software, networks, and wireless technologies. Our client welcomes technically skilled candidates who are team-oriented and have a great “desk-side manner,” especially providing responsive, professional IT support to VIPs, Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel, senior military leadership, and distinguished guests., * Installation, configuration, and administration of computer hardware, software, and networks.

• Desktop and workstation troubleshooting, including in-depth diagnosis and resolution of hardware, software, printer, and network application issues.
• Escalated PC hardware/software support, mobile device and wireless support, and coordination of wireless assets.
• Installation, testing, and operation of wireless and data communications equipment, including network component installations, transitions, and cutovers.
• Video Teleconference (VTC) support.

• At least 2 years of recent, professional IT support experience.
• Knowledge of PC operating systems, networking, mail standards, help desk operations, and some application support.
• Security+ certification preferred.

Tier II - Help Desk Support

• At least 4 years of professional IT support experience, with knowledge and experience consistent with the Tier I requirements.
• Security+ certification preferred.

Tier II ACTR - Navy IT Asset Support

• At least 5 years of total experience.
• Experience supporting Information Technology assets and Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) accounts.
• Familiarity with NMCI/CoSC/NGEN/NGEN-R contract ordering and tracking systems is a plus.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.

Tier III - Senior Help Desk Support

• At least 7 years of IT experience, including 4 years of specialized experience in PC and wireless technologies.
• Expert knowledge of PC operating systems, networking, and mail standards.
• Experience providing advanced troubleshooting in a team-based help desk environment.
• Experience serving as a Navy Trusted Agent for issuing SIPR Tokens.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.

• Clearance: Active Secret or higher required for all tiers
• Work Arrangement: Full-time, 100% onsite, long-term contract
