This role requires a hands-on technology leader who can work across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to transform ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of AI expertise, cloud architecture experience, healthcare industry knowledge, and business acumen. They must be passionate about emerging technologies, market trends, and innovation while maintaining a pragmatic focus on delivering achievable business outcomes.

This individual will play a critical role in guiding product strategy, defining solution architecture, oversee implementation, and ensuring successful deployment of AI-enabled products and platforms.

Accountabilities include:

• Identify, Define, and execute end-to-end AI enabled strategic solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects or areas.
• Develop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices
• Mentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks and skill development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, data engineers, IT teams, and management, to understand needs and drive alignment with business and development teams.
• Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Assess new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance application processes and recommend their adoption where applicable.
• Architecture and design reviews: Play a key leadership role in architecture design reviews and identify gaps and recommend design changes. Actively lead and participate in the

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles (technical lead, solution architect, enterprise architect)
• Strong experience in understanding non-functional requirements (SLA, response time, real time, near real time, multi-threading) and ability to create designs that meet the non-functional requirements.
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• 5+ years of SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis and any relevant database experience
• 5+ years in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), microservices, and API design.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML or Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Git) and Kafka.
• experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks (Angular/JavaScript).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and business processes., * Preferred experience in interoperability FHIR HL7 standards
• Experience/certification in one or more cloud platforms (Salesforce, GCP, Azure & AWS) is preferred.
• Experience in large scale migration efforts from legacy technology/Asset to a modern/new Asset is preferred, * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent experience required

$106,605.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
