Network Administrator (Infrastructure & Operations)

This is a hands-on role supporting enterprise networking, firewalls, servers, and cloud infrastructure while helping establish processes, monitoring, and operational best practices.

This is a great opportunity for someone with networking and systems administration experience who wants broader exposure to cloud, automation, security, and enterprise infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Administer and support enterprise network infrastructure
• Configure and maintain firewalls, routing, and network connectivity
• Assist with server administration and support Linux-based systems
• Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Support cloud infrastructure initiatives, primarily within Azure
• Create and maintain scripts to automate operational tasks
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and maintenance activities
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives
• Work with security teams to maintain infrastructure security standards

• Experience with network administration in an enterprise environment
• Firewall administration experience
• Systems administration experience
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, DNS, and TCP/IP
• Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and production issues
• Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of change management and enterprise IT operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure administration experience
• Linux administration experience (RHEL preferred)
• Infrastructure as Code exposure (Terraform, Ansible, ARM, or Bicep)
• DevOps or automation experience
• Experience supporting highly available production environments
• Exposure to security tools and processes
• Experience working in a NOC, SOC, or Infrastructure Operations environment, Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
