Helpdesk Engineer

• Manage the helpdesk system, handling inbound support calls and emails within agreed Service Level Agreements
• Support mobile systems for our company and clients
• Provide technical support to field operatives and mobile device users
• Carry out operating system reloads and stage devices for deployment
• Provide quality assurance for our customers
• Log calls, diagnose and resolve mobile device issues, and update customers on progress
• Accurately record and monitor helpdesk incidents through to successful conclusion

• Demonstrable interest in technology and IT
• Knowledge of Android operating systems, SOTI MobiControl, AirWatch or other Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, Freshdesk or other customer support software, Warehouse Management or ERP systems, and WiFi infrastructure would be beneficial

We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Engineer to join our clients dynamic IT support team as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues. We provide an induction and training programme focused on real-world skills and current Mobile Managed Services technologies. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role, 8:30am to 5:00pm, based at our clients offices in Avonmouth; remote working is not available, and reliable public transport links are limited, so you must have your own transport. The starting salary is £26,000-£28,000, negotiable according to background and experience.
