Web Designer

Our Web Designers create engaging, sales-focused digital experiences for Colony Brands e-commerce websites, email, mobile, social media, and other digital channels. You will ensure creative work, content, HTML, and digital assets meet brand, quality, usability, accessibility, and technical standards while supporting customer engagement and sales goals. Collaboration is key! You will partner with web, creative, marketing, merchandising, copy, photography, and development teams to translate business needs and brand direction into effective digital experiences. In addition, you’ll also be responsible for: *Turning marketing messages and brand direction into responsive, customer-focused designs for websites, landing pages, category pages, email, mobile, social media, and multimedia channels. *Managing assigned projects from initial direction through launch, coordinating requirements, priorities, deadlines, status updates, and deliverables. *Reviewing design, content, HTML, links, and responsive behavior to ensure accuracy, quality, accessibility, and adherence to brand and technical standards. *Recommending design and content improvements based on A/B testing, performance data, customer feedback, usability research, and e-commerce best practices. *Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, and related tools to build, update, and troubleshoot digital experiences across desktop, mobile, and email.

We need an organized, motivated individual with exceptional design creativity and ability to communicate as well verbally as you do visually. Ideally, you will have an Associate’s degree in Commercial Art, Graphic Design or a related field. Certification in Web Design is also helpful. In addition, we are looking for: *3+ years’ experience in Graphic Arts and/or Design, or a related field *3+ years’ experience in web and email design (HTML, CSS, JSP, and Javascript/JQuery) *High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and InDesign) *High proficiency with online workflow and platform applications (Workfront, Salesforce E-commerce and Marketing Cloud) *Familiarity of e-mail trends, current design standards and usability *Above average organizational skills
