Java Developer (AI-Augmented Engineering)

Architect, design, and build robust, scalable enterprise Java applications and microservices using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.

• Integrate and utilize AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini) throughout the SDLC to enhance code quality, documentation, and productivity.
• Develop and refine advanced AI prompts to generate secure, correct, and context-aware code solutions.
• Review and validate both human and AI-generated code for security, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Rapidly generate and automate comprehensive test suites (unit, integration, regression) with AI support to ensure high code coverage.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance by leveraging LLMs for faster root-cause analysis.
• Continuously share AI prompt libraries, new techniques, and insights with the team to drive collective growth and innovation.

5-7 years of professional experience in enterprise Java development (Java 11 or higher, Java 17+ preferred).

• Proven expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture.
• Strong database knowledge: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Proficient with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Daily operational use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini) to drive development efficiency.
• Demonstrated mastery in prompt engineering, with the ability to create precise prompts and validate AI outputs for logic, security, and compliance.
• Critical thinker with a growth mindset, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both human teammates and AI tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building or integrating custom AI plugins or internal developer tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
