Java Developer

Join a forward-thinking payments team as a Senior Java Developer, driving the evolution of our Credit Card Servicing solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy robust enterprise applications and APIs within a dynamic Agile environment. Collaborate with passionate engineers, architects, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions leveraging modern Java, Spring Boot, DevOps, and cloud technologies.

[Responsibilities]

• Lead the design, coding, testing, deployment, and support of Java-based solutions for payment platforms.
• Develop modern RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring scalability and security.
• Contribute to full-stack development and cloud-enabled services using containers (on-prem and cloud).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create unified API layers across diverse data sources.
• Support system and software design, including database schema, data mapping, and high-availability resources.
• Play a vital role in transitioning to cloud and containerized environments, as well as Kafka integration.
• Implement DevOps practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and environment setup.
• Participate in Agile sprints, delivering rapid and quality solutions that meet evolving business needs.
• Mentor junior teammates and contribute to team process improvements.
• Maintain and enhance existing integration assets and ensure operational excellence.

5+ years hands-on Java development (Java, Spring Boot, Eclipse, Maven, Gradle).

• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and integrating diverse data sources.
• Full-stack development exposure and familiarity with modern DevOps practices.
• Proven experience with SQL and database design principles.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field OR 9+ years relevant experience.
• Demonstrated Agile methodology experience.

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience with Kafka, cloud migration, and containerization.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
