Information Security Engineers

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Information Security Engineers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards., The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Operate and maintain enterprise SSO services, troubleshooting authentication failures, access issues, and application integration problems.
2. Monitor identity integrations and validate authentication workflows, access controls, and application connectivity.
3. Coordinate application onboarding and migration activities with application owners and technical stakeholders.
4. Maintain technical documentation and ensure identity integrations align with security policies, agency standards, and operational requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Experience in identity and access management, SSO engineering, enterprise identity services, or application integration support.

Technical Skills

Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On, Identity and Access Management, Authentication Protocols, Access Control, Application Integration, Identity Troubleshooting, Application Migration, Security Configuration, Technical Documentation

Business / Domain Skills

1. Experience supporting Federal Government IT modernization initiatives, particularly Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) ICAM programs and enterprise identity and access management services across multi-vendor environments.
2. Experience supporting federal identity and authentication services, including single sign-on (SSO), application onboarding and migration, user access management, and authentication and authorization workflows.
3. Experience coordinating application integrations, troubleshooting access issues, validating security controls, and maintaining reliable access to government enterprise applications in accordance with agency policies and security requirements.
4. Experience collaborating with federal stakeholders, application owners, cybersecurity teams, and technology vendors to support identity service operations, integration documentation, security compliance, and continuous service improvement.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements., 1. Experience supporting enterprise identity services and resolving complex authentication issues.

1. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for investigating access and integration problems.
