Information Security Engineers

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Information Security Engineers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards., The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Lead operational support and maintenance of enterprise SSO platforms serving internal and external application users.
2. Oversee application onboarding, identity integrations, authentication workflows, and access control validation.
3. Coordinate project activities, technical dependencies, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications for SSO initiatives.
4. Collaborate with application owners, security teams, and infrastructure stakeholders to maintain secure configurations and meet agency requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

Experience in identity and access management, SSO engineering, authentication services, or enterprise security operations.

Technical Skills

Single Sign-On, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Identity and Access Management, Authentication Protocols, Application Integration, Access Control, Security Configuration, Project Coordination, Technical Troubleshooting

Business / Domain Skills

1. Experience supporting Federal Government IT modernization initiatives, particularly Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) ICAM programs and enterprise identity services across diverse application portfolios.
2. Experience leading single sign-on (SSO) service delivery for internal and external government users, including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle processes, and secure application access.
3. Experience coordinating SSO implementation, application onboarding, integration enhancements, operational support, and issue resolution across government applications, application owners, and multi-vendor delivery teams.
4. Experience managing identity service priorities, implementation schedules, stakeholder communications, security requirements, and operational readiness to ensure reliable and compliant access across federal enterprise environments.

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements., 1. Experience leading SSO implementation, application integration, or enterprise identity support activities.
