Rack And Stack Network Technician

We are looking for a Rack & Stack / Network Installation Technician to assist with the physical installation of network and IT equipment.

Data center experience is NOT required. We are open to technicians who have performed similar work in IDF rooms, MDF rooms, telecom rooms, network closets, or other commercial IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Rack and stack switches, servers, routers, and other network equipment
• Install equipment into racks and cabinets
• Install and replace patch panels and network hardware
• Run and connect Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A and fiber patch cables
• Perform copper and fiber patching
• Dress, secure, and label cabling
• Follow rack elevations, port assignments, labels, and installation instructions
• Assist with equipment swaps and hardware refresh projects
• Perform basic physical connectivity checks
• Keep racks, cabinets, and cabling clean and organized
• Work safely around active network equipment

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
