Technical Support Engineer

• Provide remote and on-site customer support for defence applied technology products.

• First-class degree in computer science, electronics, physics, mathematics, or mechatronic engineering from a Russell Group university, supported by A*/A grades at A-level in mathematics and physics.
• Interest in technology, including AI and robotics, demonstrated through hobby projects or other extracurricular activities.
• Project experience, ideally in industry, addressing technical problems with other stakeholders, with evidence of good communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise projects.
• Experience with cloud or Linux computer networking and monitoring, ideally AWS and Prometheus.
• A driving licence and ability to travel to client sites when required.
• Eligibility for security clearance.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

We are a growing defence technology start-up developing electro-optical sensor applications on a proprietary AI platform. Our technical support engineering team works with novel and evolving technology. The role is fully on-site at our offices just south of Cambridge, in South Cambridgeshire, with travel to client sites when required. The advertised salary is £28,000-£38,000, depending on experience, and we provide specific technical training and a compensation package.
