Job description
Our vehicles are becoming the world’s most advanced autonomous robots; with this comes the expectation to deliver an awesome in-car experience for owners & Robotaxi riders. In a Tesla, the touchscreens serve as your control center for the car’s many systems and features - the UI System Integration team ensures this relationship remains fast and intuitive. Tight integration between the UI and vehicle components is required for the interfaces to influence real-world behavior; without it, safety, comfort, and performance are all compromised. - Rapid prototyping of in-car customer experiences
- Designing and specifying implementation requirements for new customer-facing features
- Design, code, and debug UI interfaces and state machines
- Design and implement robust interfaces to facilitate system-level vehicle behaviors
- Work with a cross-functional team of Designers and Hardware, Software, and Integration Engineers
