Software Developers

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards., The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC architecture, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and XML.
2. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations to support complex business processes, data validation, reporting, and application functionality.
3. Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks, reusable test libraries, test utilities, and regression suites to improve test coverage and reduce testing cycles.
4. Analyze business and technical requirements, prepare test plans and test cases, execute functional and integration testing, investigate defects, and collaborate with development and business teams to resolve issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

8+ years in .NET development and SQL Server; 5+ years in test automation, test planning, requirements analysis, and defect tracking; 3+ years in SQL data validation and requirements elicitation.

Technical Skills

C#, Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, MVC Architecture, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML/XML, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and Stored Procedures, Automated Test Frameworks, Defect Tracking Tools

Business / Domain Skills

1. Experience supporting large-scale public-sector retirement and pension administration systems, including applications that automate complex business processes, manage member and employer information, and support accurate data processing and reporting.
2. Experience designing and developing enterprise business applications while supporting functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing across interconnected application workflows.
3. Experience validating business rules, application workflows, interfaces, data, batch processes, and end-to-end transactions through functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
4. Experience analyzing business and functional requirements, documenting test strategies and specifications, managing defects and test results, and collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to improve application quality and operational reliability.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements., 1. Strong oral communication, technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

1. Experience with parallel testing, automated regression testing, SQL Server database administration, and deployment of multi-tier web applications.
2.
