Scala

You’ll join a live services engineering team, developing and supporting Scala-based microservices and APIs while contributing to technology projects., * Design, develop and enhance Scala-based microservices.

• Build clean, efficient and testable Back End services and APIs.
• Work with the Play Framework and functional programming principles.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and product teams in an Agile environment.
• Support live production services, troubleshoot issues and maintain service reliability.
• Contribute to code quality, testing and continuous improvement.

Strong commercial experience with Scala and functional programming is essential. Experience developing microservices, working with the Play Framework, building APIs and supporting production services is highly desirable.
