SAP Finance Lead

We want a genuinely hands-on FICO practitioner with a strong finance foundation. The ideal candidate has personally configured, tested, and troubleshot SAP Finance solutions, as opposed to overseeing others who did., * 8+ years of SAP experience with substantial hands-on FICO configuration; 12-15 years is preferred. \n

• SAP S/4HANA or ECC experience, S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition preferred \n

• Hands-on implementation and production-support experience, with the ability to explain what you personally configured and resolved. \n

• A strong finance and accounting foundation. You understand the business process behind the configuration. \n

• Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report processes. \n

• Experience writing functional specifications and working with technical and integration teams. \n

• Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with Finance leaders and business users. \n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. \n

• Serve as the primary techno-functional lead for SAP Finance and Controlling, covering design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support. \n

• Configure and support core FI/CO areas, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, cost and profit center accounting, internal orders, and financial close. \n

• Support Order-to-Cash finance processes, including AR, credit management, cash application, collections, and reconciliation. \n

• Troubleshoot issues across SAP configuration, master data, and integrations with banks, commerce platforms, and other enterprise applications. \n

• Translate Finance requirements into practical SAP solutions, and write functional specifications for developers and integration teams. \n

• Lead requirements gathering, testing (unit, integration, and UAT), and post-production support. \n

• Make sure solutions support internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit expectations. \n

• Find ways to reduce manual entries, reconciliations, and spreadsheet dependencies. \n

• Mentor junior analysts and guide technical resources. \n

• SAP Digital Payments Add-On and payment service provider integrations (training available) \n

• SAP Credit Management, lockbox, and electronic bank statement experience \n

• SAP Integration Suite/CPI, BTP, OData APIs, and Fiori \n

• Experience in retail, consumer products, CPG, fashion, or another high-volume transactional industry \n

• Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian sales tax and tax engines such as Avalara or Vertex
