Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data Storage Solution Architect to join a major transformation programme supporting critical enterprise services.

This role sits within a Service Operations team and has been created to support increased project demand, with a particular focus on a large-scale Data Centre Exit Programme. You will play a key role in ensuring storage, data protection, and recovery capabilities remain resilient throughout migration and transformation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale storage solutions.
• Lead storage architecture, strategy, and transformation initiatives.
• Deliver data protection, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Support data centre migration and exit projects.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance.
• Engage with stakeholders across operational and project teams.
• Support the successful delivery of critical infrastructure and transformation programmes.

• Proven experience as a Storage Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or Solution Architect.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage platforms and technologies.
• Experience with data protection, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Expertise in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Experience delivering data centre migration and transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams.

Desirable

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS).
• Knowledge of VMware and virtualisation technologies.
• Experience working within large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
