Oracle DBA

Insight Global is seeking an Oracle Database Architect for a top global transportation technology and manufacturing client. This candidate will serve as a senior technical leader within the Digital Technology Database Team, owning the architecture, administration, security, performance, availability, and continuous improvement of mission-critical Oracle environments. The role has a heavy focus on Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 and Oracle 19c, with exposure to OCI, AWS, Exadata, RAC, Data Guard, and on-premises infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Oracle professional who enjoys remaining technically hands-on while driving architecture decisions, security initiatives, modernization efforts, and technical direction across a blended DBA team.

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise Oracle Database Administration experience
• 8+ years supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2
• Strong hands-on Oracle Database 19c experience
• Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, Clusterware, and RAC
• Strong Oracle Data Guard and HA/DR architecture experience
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience
• Red Hat Linux
• Database performance tuning, patching, upgrades, and complex production troubleshooting
• Automation using Linux shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL
• ServiceNow incident/ticket/change-management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Oracle Exadata experience
• AWS database/cloud experience
• Large-scale enterprise Oracle environments
• Experience leading or providing technical direction to onshore, offshore, and contractor DBAs
• Highly available, business-critical Oracle ERP experience
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills
