Systems Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer for a leading research and technology organization. This individual will support the operation, maintenance, and continued improvement of secure computing environments used for regulated research. The Systems Engineer will administer Windows and Citrix infrastructure, facilitate user onboarding and access provisioning, troubleshoot production issues, support security and compliance activities, and contribute to platform modernization. This is a highly collaborative opportunity for an infrastructure professional who enjoys solving technical problems, improving operational processes, and supporting secure, mission-critical platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience * 3-5 years of enterprise infrastructure, operational platform, or production systems experience * Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy administration * Citrix, VDI, remote-access, user-profile management, and application-delivery experience * Identity and access management and security administration experience * Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues in production environments * Familiarity with incident response, monitoring, change management, and customer support * PowerShell scripting and operational automation skills * Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and customer-service skills * Ability to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders * Experience supporting secure research computing or controlled-access environments * Microsoft Azure experience * Experience with virtualization platforms or IAM solutions * Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or similar security and compliance frameworks * Customer onboarding and user-lifecycle management experience
