Senior Systems Engineer

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the design, administration, security, and ongoing optimization of the organization’s cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This individual will serve as a key technical resource responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise systems across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, VMware, Windows Server, storage, backup, and disaster recovery environments. The Senior Systems Engineer will play an important role in infrastructure modernization efforts, ensuring technology platforms remain aligned with business needs while supporting operational excellence and long-term growth.

Experience supporting systems, cloud, or infrastructure engineering environments. Experience administering Microsoft Azure. Experience administering Microsoft 365. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity management. Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, authentication, and hybrid identity environments. Experience administering VMware vSphere and ESXi. Experience administering Windows Server. Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 certifications. VMware certifications. Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication. Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation. Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management technologies.
