UI & Workflow Architect

We are seeking an experienced UI & Workflow Architect to join a large-scale healthcare transformation initiative supporting the modernization of a next-generation, cloud-native Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) platform. The successful candidate will lead experience architecture, workflow design, and front-end architecture efforts across multiple user personas, including members, clients, and internal operations teams. This role will be responsible for defining and governing enterprise-wide interaction patterns, design systems, accessibility standards, and user experience frameworks that ensure consistency and scalability across multiple product teams and workstreams., * Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide UI Architecture and Workflow Architecture for complex healthcare applications.

• Define and maintain front-end standards, interaction patterns, reusable components, and design system governance.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Solution Architecture teams to ensure alignment between user experience, business processes, and technical architecture.
• Drive end-to-end workflow and process redesign initiatives to improve usability, efficiency, and customer experience.
• Establish and enforce accessibility best practices and compliance standards across digital products.
• Collaborate with multiple development teams to ensure a consistent and scalable user experience across platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance for front-end technologies, user interface frameworks, and design system implementation.
• Support large-scale digital transformation and modernization programs within healthcare environments., * Candidates are not required to reside in the Boston area.
• Travel may be required; all approved travel expenses will be covered by the client.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.

• 8+ years of experience in:

• Front-End Architecture
• UI Design & Development
• Design System Architecture
• User Interface Architecture
• Interaction Design
• Process Redesign and Workflow Optimization
• Proven experience leading UI and workflow architecture for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in developing and governing enterprise design systems.
• Hands-on experience implementing accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
• Healthcare industry experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) environments.
• Experience supporting cloud-native platform modernization and digital transformation programs.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, member experience, and client-facing healthcare applications.
