Data Analyst

We’re supporting a global engineering and manufacturing organisation in their search for a Data Analyst to join the team in Desford. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a varied role, helping to transform how data is used across the business through dashboard development, reporting, data analysis and automation solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Extract, analyse and manipulate data using SQL and Python
• Develop automated data solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate
• Create and maintain effective data structures across SharePoint, data lakes and internal business systems
• Use DAX and Power Query to deliver meaningful business insights
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges
• Drive continuous improvement through data-led decision making

• Experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, reporting or dashboard development
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Strong Power BI development and reporting experience, including dashboard creation and DAX
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from concept to delivery
• Backgrounds in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, rail, telecommunications, IT, FMCG, or similar data-driven sectors will be highly relevant, To apply, please submit a copy of your up-to-date CV clearly indicating your relevant experience.
