Data Analyst (Tableau & Excel)

Role Overview: This onsite position at 30 Rockefeller Plaza requires a high-level Data Analyst to drive visual analytics and data-driven decision-making. The primary focus is on leveraging Tableau and advanced Excel to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights. Due to the nature of the project and client requirements, a comprehensive 10-year background check (BGC) is mandatory., * Design, develop, and maintain high-impact Tableau dashboards and visualizations to track key business metrics.

• Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, Power Query) to clean, manipulate, and model data for reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure reporting aligns with organizational goals.
• Maintain data integrity by identifying and resolving discrepancies across multiple data sources.
• Communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical leadership.
• Streamline existing reporting processes through automation and improved data visualization techniques.

Data Analysis, Tableau, Data Sets, Tableau, Background Investigation, Metrics, Reporting Dashboards, Trend Analysis, Data Analysis, Vlookups, * Visualization Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Tableau (6 9 years) including calculated fields, parameters, and dashboard optimization.

• Spreadsheet Engineering: Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills for complex data modeling and statistical analysis.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to conduct end-to-end data analysis, from data mining to executive-level presentation.
• Data Literacy: Understanding of database structures and the ability to interpret complex data schemas.
