Scrum Master / IT Project Manager (Onsite - Pasadena, CA)

This is a hybrid delivery-and-growth role. Roughly, you’ll split your time between running projects day-to-day and developing the client relationship.

What you’ll do

Delivery

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Own day-to-day project management so milestones, deliverables, and commitments are met on time
• Translate client requirements and priorities into clear, actionable plans for offshore teams
• Manage project plans, sprint backlogs, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and escalations
• Track progress and deliver status reports to client stakeholders and internal leadership
• Keep scope, business priorities, resources, and timelines aligned
• Proactively identify delivery risks and drive them to resolution
• Use AI tools smartly for meeting summaries, action tracking, status reporting, and documentation, while applying sound judgment to validate outputs

Client relationship & growth

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact between the client and Ratna Global’s offshore teams
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and department heads
• Run discovery conversations to understand business challenges, upcoming initiatives, and technology needs
• Identify and track new opportunities from first conversation through qualification, proposal, and engagement start
• Work within the client’s vendor-management and procurement policies
• Recommend process improvements that raise delivery quality and support long-term account growth

• 5-8 years in IT project management, Scrum Master, program coordination, or Agile delivery roles
• Strong command of Scrum/Agile, with hands-on experience facilitating ceremonies and managing project governance
• Experience working with offshore development teams and distributed delivery models
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and MS Office
• Experience in client engagement, account management, consultative selling, or opportunity development in an IT services environment
• Business acumen across project budgets, resource planning, delivery costs, and commercial considerations
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Comfortable working independently at a client site and balancing immediate delivery with long-term relationship building
• High integrity and discretion with confidential client information

Nice to have

• CSM, PSM, or PMP certification, * Scrum Master or IT Project Manager: 5 years (Required)
