Junior/Medior Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will work on the ANVA Data Platform: the beating heart of our data-driven organization. This platform supports both our existing solutions (ANVA 4/5) and our new Snowflake-native platform, ANVA 6. Together with a multidisciplinary team and experienced colleagues, you will build robust data pipelines within Snowflake. You will receive guidance and have the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility and tackle increasingly complex challenges., * Build and improve ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Snowpark Python (for ANVA 6), and Matillion (for ANVA 4/5), together with senior colleagues.

• Maintain and enhance data processes within the platform.
• Contribute to building the data foundation of ANVA 6, enabling customer data to be used for reporting, dashboards, and other applications.
• Contribute to Business Insights by creating reports and Qlik dashboards for both ANVA 4/5 and ANVA 6.
• Use AI tools to accelerate and improve your work and actively share your discoveries with the team.
• Take initiative to explore new techniques and AI applications, build prototypes, and demonstrate what works (and what does not).
• Learn how to translate technical challenges into clear, practical solutions.
• Collaborate with and learn from data engineers, analysts, and DevOps specialists.
• Participate in DevOps activities such as monitoring, automation, and performance optimization.

• A bachelors degree or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence, during which you have independently built production-grade data pipelines or data models.
• Enthusiasm and you bring energy to the team.
• A solid foundational knowledge of SQL and a good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
• Demonstrated use of AI in your daily work or studies, along with curiosity about new AI applications.
• Affinity with Python and an interest in Agile and DevOps ways of working.
• A growth mindset: you ask questions, seek feedback, and strive to improve every day.
• Preferred: experience with Snowflake, Matillion, Qlik, SaaS, or the insurance industry.
