Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will work on the ANVA Data Platform, the beating heart of our data-driven organization. This platform supports both our existing solutions (ANVA 4/5) and our new Snowflake-native platform, ANVA 6. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you will build robust data pipelines and drive strategic innovations within Snowflake., * Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Snowpark Python (for ANVA 6), and Matillion (for ANVA 4/5)

• Maintain and enhance data processes across the platform
• Help build the data foundation of ANVA 6, enabling customer data to be leveraged for reporting, dashboards, and other applications
• Contribute to Business Insights through reports and Qlik dashboards for both ANVA 4/5 and ANVA 6
• Experiment with new technologies and contribute ideas for the future of our platform
• Translate technical challenges into clear, practical solutions
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps specialists
• Take ownership of DevOps-related tasks such as monitoring, automation, and performance optimization

• A completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO) or equivalent level of education and thinking
• Extensive and relevant experience in Data Engineering or BI Engineering
• Strong, demonstrable knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling
• Experience with Snowflake and Matillion (or similar data transformation tools)
• Affinity with Python and Agile/DevOps ways of working
• Preferred: experience with SaaS, multi-tenant environments, Qlik, or the insurance industry
