Job description

As Product Owner E2E Critical Business Chain Visualisation, you translate Rabobank’s observability vision into a clear product vision, roadmap and prioritised backlog. You bring together monitoring, event management, logging and synthetic user monitoring data in one integrated view of Rabobank’s critical business chains.

You maximise the business value of the visualisation capability based on SUSE Observability. You work closely with Engineering, Operations, Risk, Service Management and business stakeholders to understand their needs, set priorities and make clear choices. In doing so, you balance business continuity and operational excellence with engineering priorities, data quality and scalability

Examples for Practices

  • Build one integrated E2E Critical Business Chain Visualisation capability using SUSE Observability across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Bring together data from ARIS, HALO, OBM, Dynatrace, Splunk, Piano Analytics and WTTSS Synthetic Monitoring in actionable business-chain dashboards.
  • Create shared priorities with stakeholders and improve visibility, root-cause analysis, service-health insight and proactive risk detection across critical business processes.

Fact & Figures

  • 36 hours per week.
  • 1 integrated view connecting multiple observability, monitoring, event, logging, analytics and synthetic-monitoring sources.
  • 9.5 million customers worldwide.

Top 3 Responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision and development of E2E Critical Business Chain Visualisation by translating strategic objectives into a roadmap, prioritised backlog and measurable outcomes.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across business, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Architecture and Service Management. Clarify needs, align priorities, manage expectations and facilitate decisions when interests or requirements differ.
  • Drive the integration and visualisation of observability data from ARIS, HALO, OBM, Dynatrace, Splunk, Piano Analytics and WTTSS into reliable, business-relevant service views and dashboards.

Position in the organisation: You set the product direction for E2E Critical Business Chain Visualisation. You connect the squad with stakeholders across technology, operations, risk and business domains and ensure that product decisions deliver both operational and business value.

Requirements

  • Academic working and thinking level, preferably with a degree in a relevant field, and at least 5 years of Product Owner or Product Management experience in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, IT Operations, Service Management and Business Service Monitoring, including end-to-end service monitoring, critical business-chain visualisation and dependency mapping.
  • Experience with SUSE Observability, Dynatrace, Splunk, OBM or comparable observability solutions. Experience with ITIL, SRE, DevOps and operational resilience is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives and complex technical insights into a clear product vision, roadmap, prioritised backlog, measurable outcomes and understandable business information.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. You listen carefully, build trust, bring different interests together, influence decisions and create commitment across business, operations, architecture and engineering.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, combined with a hands-on, problem-solving and data-driven approach, a strong focus on business value and a solid understanding of Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is an advantage.
