Job description

As an Application Processor, you’ll play a key role in evaluating rental applications and supporting prospective tenants through the leasing process:

  • Verify, compile, and input applicant data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Review applications for completeness, compliance, and potential discrepancies
  • Conduct credit and background screenings to assess applicant qualifications
  • Communicate professionally with applicants, employers, banks, and references
  • Coordinate with pet screening services and rental reference providers
  • Assist with scheduling property showings and applicant follow-ups
  • Maintain consistent communication in a high-volume, fast-paced workflow
  • Document detailed notes and updates in internal software systems
  • Use problem-solving and decision-making skills to evaluate applicant eligibility
  • Support applicants throughout the application process with excellent customer service

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Real estate license (a plus, but not required)
