IT Manager

You’ll take ownership of the company’s IT environment, supporting users, suppliers and business systems across our UK and international operations. The role combines hands-on IT management with strategic responsibility for infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, systems improvement and the responsible use of AI to improve efficiency and decision-making., § Manage the company’s IT infrastructure, networks, devices, cloud services and business applications

§ Provide responsive technical support and ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations

§ Develop and maintain cybersecurity, access control, backup, recovery and data protection practices

§ Manage IT suppliers, licences, budgets, contracts and technology procurement

§ Ensure secure data generation, personalisation and use of digital delivery platforms

§ Identify, evaluate and implement AI tools and automations that deliver measurable business value

§ Establish appropriate governance for the secure, ethical and responsible use of AI

§ Partner with teams across the business to improve processes, reporting, data quality and system integration

§ Maintain IT documentation, policies, asset records and business continuity plans

§ Ad Hoc duties as needed

§ Proven experience managing IT operations, infrastructure and end-user support

§ Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud platforms, identity and access management, and data protection

§ Experience managing suppliers, contractors and competing priorities

§ Clear communication skills and the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical colleagues

§ Organised, proactive and comfortable working both strategically and hands-on

§ Proven project management experience

Desirable

§ Experience in FMCG, retail, manufacturing or a fast-growing SME

§ Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or other platforms

§ Experience delivering AI adoption, training or governance initiatives
