Job description
IT Functional Analyst with 5+ years in Non-Life insurance and IT analysis. Translates business requirements into structured IT and technical solutions, prepares test cases, supports testing, and ensures delivery quality. Coordinates developers and stakeholders, works in multi-layer applications, SQL environments, and follows PRINCE2, TMAP, and architectural principles., * Be in charge of translating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping a functional approach and respecting the standards.
- Help translating this functional design into well-tailored technical design.
- Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements.
- Test the product before delivery to the users.
- Analyse potential corrective actions to be taken.
- Coordinate technical designers and programmers during implementation of functionalities.
- Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs.
- Report to your manager and project leaders on the progress of your work.
- Actively support the Project leaders in the project implementation.
Requirements
Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Professional Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Sciences (or equivalent through experience). .
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Non-Life underwriting insurance.
- Minimum 2 years of significant experience as IT Functional Analyst, ideally in a large company, in direct contact with business stakeholders.
- Experience in Non-Life claims insurance and document management is preferred.
- Experience with multi-layer applications is required.
- Experience in SQL is preferred.
- Experience with PRINCE2 methodology.
- Experience in project leading principles.
- Experience in test management principles (TMAP).
- Knowledge of technical analysis.
- Fluency in Dutch and/or French (one fluent, the second one basic), with a good command of English., * Quick learner
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
