Job description

Promatica Digital is a healthcare software company whose platform supports NHS primary-care services. We’re building a new module in our core platform and need an experienced full-stack developer with strong React and C# / .NET skills to help design and deliver it end to end.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role on a defined piece of work, with potential to extend beyond the initial 12 months. You’ll build features across the whole stack: React user interfaces, .NET APIs and services, and the SQL Server data layer behind them, all hosted in Azure.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build and ship features for a new module in our core platform, from the user interface through to the database.
  • Build responsive, accessible front ends in React and TypeScript.
  • Develop secure, well-structured APIs and back-end services in C# / .NET.
  • Design data models and write efficient T-SQL in SQL Server.
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and clear technical documentation.
  • Work closely with our existing developers, clinicians and stakeholders to turn requirements into working software.
  • Ensure sensitive and patient data is handled securely and in line with information-governance requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript, including state management, component design and consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET (.NET 8 / modern .NET), building Web APIs.
  • Solid SQL Server skills: T-SQL, stored procedures, query performance and data modelling.
  • Experience delivering full-stack features end to end in a production application.
  • Good understanding of web application security and authentication (e.g. OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect).
  • Able to work independently, own delivery and hit deadlines within a fixed-term engagement., * Experience in a healthcare / NHS environment and awareness of UK GDPR and NHS information governance (e.g. DSPT, DCB0129).
  • Familiarity with NHS integration standards (GP Connect, HL7 / FHIR) or GP clinical systems (EMIS, TPP SystmOne).
  • Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Azure SQL).
  • Automated testing across front end and back end (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library, xUnit/NUnit).
  • Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and the NHS design system.
  • Version control (Git) and CI/CD.
